After Your Photography Workshop

Thank you for joining me for a photography tour, workshop, or expedition. It’s always a privilege to spend time in the field with fellow photographers who share a passion for light, landscape, and the creative process.

If you have any follow-up questions about the skills I’ve taught or the ideas and concepts we discussed during our time together, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to chat by phone or email and help clarify anything that will support your continued growth as a photographer.

Many participants ask how they can leave a review or provide a gratuity. Reviews are always appreciated and help other photographers learn about my workshops. Gratuities are never expected but are sincerely appreciated if you feel your experience exceeded expectations.

Lightroom & Photoshop Training

One of my goals as a photography educator is to ensure that the skills and ideas you learned in the field come full circle back to the editing process—helping you translate the light, atmosphere, and feeling you experienced into a finished photograph.

Learn Lightroom and Photoshop with professional photographer, Adam Schallau.

I offer personalized training in Adobe Lightroom Classic (Lr), Photoshop (Ps), and Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) for photographers who want to improve their post-processing workflow and get the most from their raw images.

What we'll cover

  • Developing RAW images in Lightroom Classic and Adobe Camera Raw
  • Using DxO PureRaw to remove noise and sharpen details
  • Global and local adjustments, including masking tools
  • Working with the Hues/Saturation/Luminance tools
  • Focus stacking with Helicon Focus
  • Creating multi-image stitched panoramas
  • Building an efficient workflow from capture to final image
  • Learning to see, preserve, and enhance natural light and atmosphere
  • Understanding the difference between editing for technical precision and editing for emotion, mood, and storytelling

Sessions are conducted live via Zoom, recorded for your reference, and made available for download after the training. We work directly with your own raw files, allowing you to see exactly how your images can be developed and refined. After the session, I will also send you a copy of the final edited image so you can keep it as a reference for your future editing.

Reviews

Many of my clients ask how they can support my small business after their trip. One of the most helpful ways is by sharing your experience in a review on my Google Business page at the link below. You do not need a Google account to leave a review.

If you enjoyed your time in the field and felt the workshop met or exceeded your expectations, I would truly appreciate you leaving a 5-star review. Your feedback helps future photographers feel confident choosing one of my tours or workshops and plays an important role in helping my business continue to grow.
