Photographing the Grand Canyon under a night sky can be a real treat. Depending on the moon phase, we may photograph the stars above the canyon or the canyon under the moonlight. A night sky session can be added to any of my private photo tours as an addon, or you can elect to do a standalone night sky photo tour.

Adding a night sky tour to your Sunset Photo Tour or Sunset & Sunrise Photo Tour is a great way to see the Grand Canyon in a different way. The night sky addon tour lasts approximately 90 minutes, beginning about an hour after sunset.
If you prefer, you can focus your creative efforts on the night sky over the Grand Canyon by participating in a standalone night sky photo tour. This option also begins about an hour after sunset and can last up to four hours. During this time, we will photograph from several locations.
• Addon Price: $275 for one photographer or $325 for two photographers.
• Standalone Price: $575 for one photographer or $825 for two photographers.
• Activity Level: Low to moderate with short walks of up to 10 minutes one way.

Photography Locations
The South Rim of the Grand Canyon has nearly 30 named viewpoints or overlooks from which to photograph. In addition to the designated viewpoints, there are many unnamed overlooks to photograph from. The challenge is knowing the best places for the given light and weather conditions. For these reasons, Adam will wait to select locations until the day of your photo tour so that we can adapt to changes in light and weather to put you in the best spots possible.

Scheduling your Photo Tour
If you're interested in a private photo workshop and tour, send us a message to confirm Adam's availability for your requested date(s). Once your dates are confirmed, you can save them with a deposit.
